At Live Like Ralph, everything we do comes back to a core belief:

Our grants exist to close that gap.
Since becoming a CIC, Live Like Ralph has:
Raised over £200,000
Paid out over £100,000 in grants
Supported hundreds of young people and community projects across the UK
From skateboarding and music to fashion, art, cycling, and charitable causes
we fund creative ideas, community projects and young talent
to put smiles on faces and possibility into people’s hands.
What We Fund
We award grants across five core pillars:

Coaching, equipment, free sessions, and skate spaces that create confidence and community.

Inclusive cycling projects, equipment, and opportunities that encourage movement and connection.

Creative tools, materials, and support, from sewing machines to studio space.

Instruments, recording costs, equipment, and opportunities for young musicians to develop their craft.

Including organisations aligned with Ralph’s legacy, such as support for Sarcoidosis awareness and education.

Lois Brooks | Young Musician
Grant: £300
Lois is a piano-driven indie pop singer-songwriter creating original music independently.
Her Live Like Ralph grant helped fund studio costs, allowing her to professionally record and develop her sound.
That funding didn’t just support music production, it created momentum, belief, and confidence.
Lois has since performed at Live Like Ralph events and continues to build her creative career.

Projekts Skate Park Manchester | Youth Skateboarding
Grant: £2,000
Projekts Skate Park works with young people in deprived areas of Manchester.
Our funding provided free skateboarding lessons and equipment, removing the biggest barrier: access.
The result?
Confidence, connection, and a safe place to belong, exactly what Live Like Ralph exists to support.
Who can apply for a Live Like Ralph Grant?
You can apply if you are:
A young creative (typically under 25)
A community group or organisation
Working within one of our five pillars
Creating positive opportunities for others
We fund:
Individual projects
Grassroots initiatives
Community-led ideas
You don’t need to be polished. You just need a clear idea and a genuine purpose.
How Live Like Ralph Grants work.
Grants are currently open via the Live Like Ralph website
Applicant must complete the online form
A limited number of applications are funded each quarter
Typical awards range from small micro-grants to larger community grants
All funded projects are reviewed to ensure money is used as intended
Successful applicants agree to share their story and impact (with consent)
